I'm finding that with two little kids, two jobs, a wife, starting University (you're never too old), home reno's, etc, I'm not really left with much free time to work on tyrannozaurus proper.
Changes...
-The forum has become a bit of a ghost town, so I'm thinking I'll disable it and make an off-line copy available.
-"it's a good linux morning podcast" has been moved to a dot com address and we're planning on starting up again in a few months (before Christmas).
-I'm willing to offer compilers and/or Zaurus enthusiasts an FTP account and your own Zaurus website (and feed), 4free. I'll hook you up with: http://youralias.tyrannozaurus.com and a gig of space. (send me a msg if this interests you) I just ask that it have some Zaurus related stuff on the site, and please try not to get slash dotted. :)

It sounds like you plan on keeping the feeds? Where might the handbook go?
I wish you didn't have to disable the forum, as its still might be needed if oesf gets nuts or comatose again. Are you sure?
Capn_Fish has been working on the Handbook, and I do monitor for queries here, I was in fact thinking of posting more here since wordpress has become incredibly Zaurus unfriendly when I try to manage my blog there, no longer allowing me to use text browsers for uploading and editing my posts.
I also know of an sl6000 owner thinking of disabling his feed, and had suggested he move the files to a TY feed rather than for people to lose access to his archival ipks.
Remember all web traffic dies down in summer, and picks up after school gets going in the fall. I would wait to make the final decision unless this has become totally impossible for you. The issue I see is that of letting new members on board, you have help with that?

I know how busy life can get and wish you all the best with yours. I'd even help with the reno if I was a little closer :-)
I haven't been around much lately but it does seem a shame to let it just fade away. There is a lot of useful info here which i still access from time to time. I would be willing to help moneywise and in a limited way with maintenance if that is an issue.

in one sense, the problem is that people think that everything that could be done on the Z has been done, on the other with so many new linux devices being sold, we should start seeing more cross fertilisation. if only the handheld linux community hadn't been fragmented by so many distros and user interfaces, then it'd be easier to port apps from other devices!
