comments links

I think you are clicking the "Add a new comment" link on a post that has no comments. If the post has comments the link name should change to something like "1 comment". when I click on that in Links it takes me to the first comment.

thanks for the added info. what browser and browser version are you using?

Lynx "Version 2.8.1rel.2" on my sl5500, my primary browser here.

I don't think I can find a newer version compiled for my ROM, and Links browsers ar all totally unsatisfactory.

I just tried it on Lynx Version 2.8.5rel.2 on my Mac and ya, it does the same thing.
Clicking on the "new comment" link seems to work but on the regular (non-new) link takes me to the comment form.
hmmm...
i'll try comparing old site with new.

OK, I just updated the site to 5.6 and the problem is still there.

It also says, when I click on "1 new" from a forum menu, instead of from the ty home page, that there is a new message when there isn't.

Is this a different bug? It says I haven't read my own comment I guess, as mine was the last post (sl5500 forum Collie problem).
