"Request New password" doesn't work

sdjf reports that using the "Request new password" link doesn't work. It never send the email.

I entered my email address in the "Username or EMail address" field and I received the email in a matter of sends.
sdjf, can you walk me through what you did so that I can try to duplicate the problem?

i am too busy next several days to try to duplicate it myself.
but i went in lynx to ty, not sure which page at ty, probably the one showing my rrecent posts or just ty home.
couldn't recall pw so pushed button to send me new pw as forgotten, don't recall exact wording.
and no email showed up. but i lucked out an guessed right later on my own.
javascript required for that?
